Position Overview:The Procurement Buyer is responsible for executing and self-managing all of the purchasing activities assigned to them. This role requires deep insight into supply market dynamics, negotiating abilities, and a strong understanding of strategic sourcing concepts. The ideal candidate is a highly organized strategic thinker, capable of making sound decisions under pressure, and has a track record of enhancing supply chain efficiency.˙Responsibilities:1. Analyze and evaluate offers from suppliers, taking into account cost-effectiveness, quality, reliability, and the capacity of the supplier to support our business objectives.2. Foster and manage productive relationships with vendors while negotiating contracts that maximize value and minimize risk.3. Regularly review, compare, and analyze products and suppliers to ensure optimal supply chain performance.4. Develop procurement strategies based on demand forecasts, market trends, and business needs.5. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices.6. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify their procurement needs and establish efficient procurement processes.7. Continually monitor changes in market trends, technologies, and regulations related to procurement.8. Develop and implement innovative procurement processes, policies, and procedures that enhance efficiency and profitability.9. Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions, compliance with ethical sourcing standards, and delivery performance.10. Prepare comprehensive reports regarding market trends, supply chain performance, delivery timelines, and procurement costs.
