PMO IT SpecialistROLE BACKGROUNDPMO MissionThis role is to provide specialist hands-on support and expertise for the PMO?s project and programme managers. Responsibilities will vary according to the project but will include: * Ensuring project plans and documentation are complete and up to date,* Tracking and reporting of performance * Coordinating project governance arrangements and* Reporting. * Supporting project managers and programmed managers to apply standard programmed and project management methods and tools.* He will work with the PMO Director(s) to ensure that processes reflect best practice and build on learning from project experience.PMO Objectives* To develop and implement the policies and procedures that will enable the PMO?s mandate* The PMO is to be an independent referential body for the contracting Industry* To formulate and develop the basis and standards related to the contracting Industry* To sustain the rights of all the parties engaged in contracting industry* To promote joint ventures, alliances and partnerships* To implement rules and codes of conduct* To adopt quality, safety and environment-friendly best practices* To build a productive & capable contracting community* To export contracting industry expertise* Encourage Saudization initiatives* Facilitate communication channels between stakeholders of contracting industry* Promote technical and professional awareness among the contracting community and the society in general* To encourage creativity and make the PMO the Center of Excellence for the contracting industryKey Responsibilities (Not limited):* Track status of programme/project deliverables and milestones* Support adoption of project and programme management processes* Coordinate project and programme reporting* Monitor projects status and documentation* Review completed projects and programmes to identify good practice (Lesson Learned)*Qualifications & Experience* * Degree qualified in a related IT field* PMP certification would be an advantage* 5 years of work experience in similar roles since graduation* A minimum of 3 years of experience with a Project Management Office (PMO)* Experience with a Government PMO would be an advantage* Languages: English (Excellent), Arabic (fluent)Remuneration- Salary based on single status- Market related basic salary- Medical InsuranceJob Category:Job Location:Job Type:
