They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.Position Summary:Bechtel is seeking a Project Management Office (PMO) and Business Integration (BI) Manager to be based with the SAMI PMO & BI team in Riyadh, KSA. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team to develop project management and business integration capability at SAMI. You will report directly to the SAMI PMO & BI Director.Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is a national holding company owned 100% by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), a sovereign wealth fund owned by the KSA. SAMI was established in 2017 to develop the military infrastructure necessary to help the Saudi Vision 2030 aim of localizing military spending to at least 50% by the end of the decade. It commenced operations in January 2018.You must be able to obtain and maintain a Saudi Work Visa, and relocate to Riyadh on a full-time basis.Major Responsibilities:·Developing Project Management, Commercial and Financial Management policies, processes and procedures, with detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of the project life cycle from capture, proposal, and contract to project execution and delivery.·Developing and rolling out Project Controls training materials for capacity building program.·Developing Business Management strategies including analysis and reporting.·Help the development of PMO & BI reports and studies for executive management to ensure consistent high-quality output e.g. Executive level operating reports, special studies, PMO information resources.·Working with SAMI stakeholders to develop business integration strategies and help subsequent implementation.·Leading and providing routine coaching and performance management of direct reports.Essential Skills & Qualifications:·Knowledge/skills/ability:oKnowledge of business operations, financial management, project management and project controls policies, processes and procedures, including reporting requirements with demonstrated skill in their application.oGeneral knowledge of economic and market conditions with analytical skills to recognize and interpret trends.oAn understanding of IFRS 15 financial and accounting requirements for business reporting.oAble to develop and roll-out capacity building initiatives.oExcellent oral and written English language skills for effective executive-level communication.oAble to build successful stakeholder relationships at various levels of an organization.oCan identify, assess, and solve problems innovatively. Able to operate independently.· Education & Experience:oPMP certified with an MBA and Bachelor degree in a Science/Engineering discipline.oMinimum 15 years of professional experience in the Project Management/Construction industry or, in lieu of a degree, 20 or more years of professional experience, including at the corporate, division, and/or business unit levels.oMinimum 5 years of Project Controls experience in the Middle East including on large scale projects (>$1Bn) in a leadership role.oHas demonstrable project management experience, and an advanced level of knowledge of project controls, engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.oExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems at project and corporate level for business management planning, forecasting and reporting.oLeadership experience in training, mentoring and developing others, including helping Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives.Shaping tomorrow togetherBechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
