Role SummaryAs a member of the Project Controls team, the Planning Engineer will be responsible for delivering the programme to schedule and to budget.The main focus of this role will be to prepare integrated and coordinated project plans, enabling resource and material requirements. This will involve working on cost resources, change management, cost and value.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Developing fully baselined, resource loaded and labour costed project schedulesDeveloping schedules containing all agreed activities, deliverables milestones and client deliverables based on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)Implementing and maintain project monitoring processes such as KPIs, total float, Earned Value (EV), resource and costingMonitoring progress and anticipating problems to keep the project on track, including creating recovery and contingency plansMonitoring and auditing contractor plans and planning processesPerforming analysis and scenario modeling for potential project changesProviding risk, issue, cost , resource and delay analysisPerforming critical path analysis and advising of possible actions and areas of concernProviding regular reports on project status for internal reporting requirementsProved EV and KPI reports internally to the clientAttending project coordination meetings to discuss project status with specific reference to engineering activity, sourcing, quality, cost and delivery??
