Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed within the designated timeframe. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain project schedules using project management software
  2. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and develop solutions to mitigate risks
  3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all parties are aligned with the project schedule
  4. Analyze project data and provide regular reports to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency
  6. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
  7. Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling
  8. Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards
  9. Provide guidance and support to junior planning engineers on project scheduling and planning activities
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in project management and scheduling tools
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 6 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry
  3. Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  8. Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  9. Knowledge of construction methodologies and industry regulations
  10. Experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred
