SummaryImplements the integrated pest management program under the direction of the Pest Control supervisor.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Undertakes pest control measures in assigned areas.2. Operates according to schedules or on as needed basis.3. Follows methods of pest control using Integrated Pest Management techniques. (e.g.. sets traps and other mechanical devises to control pests.4. Knowledgeable about MSDS for all chemicals that might be used.5. Mixes solutions, powders and sprays, using pre-determined formulas contained in the policy and procedure.6. Makes inspections as directed and notifies supervisor of problems noted.7. Prepares records related to chemicals used and areas covered.8. Carries out rodent control program in hospital grounds and residential areas.9. Disinfects newly renovated I constructed patient areas in the hospital according to the written procedure and based on the infection control construction and renovation policy and procedure.10. Exercises good judgment in answering questions and releasing information.EducationBachelor?s Degree or Associate Degree/ Diploma in Pest Control or any related discipline is required.Experience RequiredNo experience required with Bachelor?s or one (1) year of related experience with Associate Degree/ Diploma required.Other Requirements(Certificates)Certification in Pest Control from country of origin is required.A valid drivers license is required.
