Requisition ID: 258069Requisition Posting End Date:Project Description:Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is a national holding company owned 100% by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), a sovereign wealth fund owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).SAMI was established in May 2017 to develop the military industrial infrastructure necessary to help the Saudi Vision 2030 aim of localizing military spending to at least 50% by the end of the decade.It commenced operations in January 2018.SAMI is working with numerous Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and local contractors to establish the military industrial infrastructure across the Kingdom.It is organized into 5 Divisions: Aeronautics, Defense Electronics, Land Systems, Weapons & Missiles and Emerging Technologies; Naval interests are covered within the Weapons & Missiles portfolio.Bechtel was contracted in August 2020 to provide a Facility Management Team (FMT) to develop and implement a Facility Masterplan to help align SAMI`s programs.This has led to the opportunity to provide a Project Management/Construction Management (PM/CM) team (approximately 90 strong) to manage the design and construction of a major military industrial facility near Riyadh over the next 3-4 years.Assignment Details: This position is for Saudi National candidates only.Role OverviewThis entry level position is for a Permitting and Stakeholder Coordinator who will provide support to the Permitting and Stakeholder Manager in activities relating to identifying and obtaining necessary permits prior to construction activities, establishing relationships with 3rd party stakeholders and assisting in resolving any conflicts with outside stakeholders.The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, recognized problem-solving abilities, can-do attitude, and the desire to innovate solutions for timely and cost-effective project execution.It?s expected that the successful candidate will be located in Al Kharj during the duration of the project.Major ResponsibilitiesAssist the Permitting and Stakeholder Manager in any activities relating to 3rd Party Stakeholder engagement and coordination and identifying any and all permits required for construction and temporary works.Assist office staff with any interaction with governmental agencies.Coordinating and expediting permits and letters of authorization for construction activities.Data entry and maintenance of database of action items arising from permit reviews and applications and following through on these actions through to completion.Attend all meetings with the Permitting and Stakeholder Manager and prepare Minutes of each meeting.Skills and QualificationsGood MS Office skills, particularly with PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Arabic)An outgoing and engaging personality is helpfulMinimum 2 years in the workforceLocationAt site in Al KharjShaping tomorrow together.
