Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing the payroll activities of our company. You will ensure accurate and timely calculation of employee wages, benefits, and deductions in compliance with local laws and regulations. Additionally, you will handle payroll-related queries, maintain employee records, and support the HR & Finance departments in various payroll-related tasks.Responsibilities:

  1. Calculate and process employee wages, benefits, and deductions accurately and on time.
  2. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding payroll and taxation.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leaves, and overtime.
  4. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
  5. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
  6. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  8. Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
  9. Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  10. Support the HR department in various payroll-related tasks and projects.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing and management.
  2. Bachelors degree in Accounting, or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to payroll and taxation.
  4. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and data entry.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  7. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
