Operations Supervisor

Job Description

On behalf of a leading fine dining retail and hospitality division, we are seeking a Supervisor of Operations. Based in Riyadh, and reporting to the General Manager.You will be responsible to oversee, supervise, and control the Operations department with the objective of ensuring that company operations are operating in an efficient and effective manner and are performing in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Participate with the leadership team in the development of the organizations overall vision, mission, objectives, long and short-term P&L financial projections.
• Contribute to the strategic planning process at the VP level to develop and implement a strategy for the Operation activities that align with the organizations overall vision and its short and long-term business and growth objectives.
• Develop, implement, and monitor objectives and KPIs, monitor and evaluate the overall market condition and competitive landscape with the intent of providing insights and identifying areas of improvement
• Monitor and evaluate product Quality and restaurant Service & Cleanliness levels on a regular basis to ensure that they consistently meet and exceed standards and set targets and objectives
• Regularly and consistently monitor all customer complaints and ensure that they are promptly and effectively addressed by concerned parties aimed at achieving and exceeding business goals and objectives.
• Supervise the departmental budget and identify and allocate the resources necessary to support the strategic plans and objectives.
• Participate with leadership to identify all business risks and/or opportunities and collaborate with concerned parties to address them.
• Participate as an active member in relevant cross-functional committees including the Menu Management and Food Safety Committee.
• Supervise and oversee the implementation of all operations related projects and initiatives with compliance and alignment to all related programs, initiatives, systems, and policies & procedures developed by the organization
• Review and provide feedback on all new re-imaging, kitchen, and restaurant designs to ensure that they comply with corporate and APMEA standards and requirements. 
• Monitor and ensure the wellbeing of all store physical conditions and regularly evaluate all store financials, reports, and analyses to identify areas of opportunities and to address them with concerned employees and functions.
• Review and provide feedback on store staffing plans, initiatives, and analysis developed by HR & Corp. Compliance.
• Act as a Market Operations lead and a point of contact for the corporation and all relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the overall market condition and competitive landscape with the intent of providing insights and identifying areas of improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate product Quality and restaurant Service & Cleanliness levels on a regular basis to ensure that they consistently meet and exceed standards and set targets and objectives.
• Regularly and consistently monitor all customer complaints and ensure that they are promptly and effectively addressed by concerned parties.
• Generate commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm for department and company.
• Oversee the development, promotion, and succession planning of all Operations employees and set monthly/quarterly/ yearly incentive plans for the department.
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the operating departments.
• Plan, supervise, and review individual performance and provide regular feedback, developing opportunities and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary.
• Provide opportunities for Operations department members to suggest, participate and contribute to improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Ensure Operations departments comply with policies and processes, practices, and systems, and maintain high standard of work.
