The Operations Director will be responsible for leading and managing the overall operational performance of CESCO?s technical services, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities. The role ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, business growth, cost efficiency, and compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and direction for all operational activities, including MEP services, maintenance, testing, and commissioning projects.Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.Manage and guide project managers, technical teams, and operational staff to achieve business objectives.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, HSE standards, and applicable industry regulations.Monitor project performance, budgets, resources, and operational risks.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and operational best practices.Support business development activities by providing technical and operational input for new opportunities.Ensure effective resource planning, manpower allocation, and utilization across projects.Desired Candidate ProfileRequirementsBachelor?s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP operations, facilities management, testing & commissioning, or technical services.Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within MEP contracting, FM, or engineering services companies.Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, ELV, fire protection, and building services.Experience managing large-scale projects, multidisciplinary teams, and client-facing operations.Strong understanding of Qatar/GCC construction and MEP industry practices.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Preferred SkillsExperience managing operations for large engineering service organizations.Strong commercial and financial understanding of project operations.Ability to drive performance improvement and deliver operational excellence.Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
