Job Description

PURPOSE:˙Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Leaders, Specialists, Machinists, Welders and Assembly and Test operators in managing machining, welding and Assembly and Test functions and execution of production plan. Ensures manufacturing processes and work-flow meet safety, health, process and product quality requirements. Strives for operational efficiency and effectiveness through manufacturing improvement programs, quality transformation, lean methodology, new and relevant manufacturing concepts, and advanced manufacturing technology.Key responsibilities:

  • Forecast production requirements to achieve production targets.
  • Minimize ?throughput time? and ?work in process inventory? using Planning and Scheduling tool.
  • Optimize resources to meet manufacturing KPIs, and customers? delivery in accordance to planned schedule and customer requirements.
  • Reduce cost of non-quality through periodic analysis of non-conformance, effective root cause analysis and prevention actions
  • Motivate and building team spirit among the technicians and leaders to boost employee productivity and morale
  • Initiate work safety programs to drive toward zero incident at the workplace
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives to meet business challenges
