This role will involve managing project scopes, liaising between offshore teams and onshore engineering, and ensuring that project milestones are met within technical, safety, and quality standards. The Offshore Project Engineer will coordinate with vendors, oversee technical documentation, and support problem-solving during execution phases to deliver seamless offshore operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review technical project documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.Monitor project progress and assist in coordinating offshore activities with onshore teams.Support procurement and vendor management for project equipment and services.Conduct technical assessments and resolve engineering challenges during offshore operations.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.Facilitate technical meetings and report preparation.Assist in risk assessments and implementation of mitigation plans.Maintain detailed records and support project close-out documentation.Promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 4 years’ experience in offshore project engineering roles.Strong understanding of offshore project lifecycle and marine operations.Proficient with project management and engineering software.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.Knowledge of industry safety and quality standards.Offshore certifications such as BOSIET preferred.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration and benefits package.Exposure to diverse and challenging offshore projects.Ongoing professional development and training.Supportive and safety-first workplace culture.Opportunities for career advancement.Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.Ready to ApplyIf you are an engineer passionate about offshore projects and thrive in dynamic environments, apply now to join our team.Matsbond is an equal opportunity employer.
