Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for requirements analysis and detailed design of various technical aspects for STC Optical Transmission Networks.
Accountable for bringing together different design aspects and applying them in a relevant manner to a customer product or service.
Do the following activities to ensure successful projects and meet customer expectation and satisfaction:
Prepare RFX & Participate in technical & commercial evaluations for Optical Transport projects.
Understand customer requirements at a detailed level in order to translate them into technical specifications.
Create and maintain designs guidelines and procedures
Provides backbone transport network?standards and specifications
Conducts field and lab trials for new backbone network products, solutions and services
Deliver DCN design.
Set Optical Network strategies
Provide Technical support to internal & external customers.
Develop creative and innovative architectural designs for a complex module
Work with project managers and peers to understand and solve challenging technical problems
Assess requirements and make design recommendations
