Job Description

A leading private sector company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical components and systems.Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify any issues or malfunctions.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical systems to ensure their proper functioning.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other machinery.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems.
  5. Install new equipment and systems, ensuring that they are properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
  6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair tasks performed.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
  9. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  9. Flexibility to work on-call or during weekends and holidays as required.
  10. Valid drivers license.
