Job Description

  • Supervises the maintenance of work records.
  • Lays out jobs and estimates labor and material requirements.
  • Ensures that code requirements, safety regulations and safe work practices are observed.
  • Coordinates work activities with other crafts and operating units.
  • Determines work methods and types of materials to be used.
  • Advises superiors concerning specifications for masonry work in construction and alteration projects performed under the contract.
  • Orders and maintains a stock of materials and supplies.
  • Drives automotive equipment to and from work sites, in order to transport the necessary tools, equipment, and materials required to perform the job.
