Job Description

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This position requires a skilled individual who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of machinery to prevent downtime and enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role is vital for maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  2. Perform preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and servicing of various industrial machinery, including CNC turret punch machines, bending machines, injection molding machines, press machines, and more.
  3. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  5. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  7. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
  8. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  2. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  4. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance forms.
  5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  6. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  7. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  8. Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
