POSITION ˙SUMMARY:˙Support and maintain data processing and display, VTC and communications hardware. ˙This includes installing, configuring, ˙diagnosing, ˙repairing and upgrading all corporate ˙hardware and equipment while ensuring ˙its optimal performance.˙Also troubleshoot ˙problem areas in a timely and accurate manner, and provide end user training and assistance where required.˙PRINCIPAL ˙RESPONSIBILITIES:˙?˙˙˙Troubleshooting, installation, ˙repair, problem diagnosis, and implementation.?˙˙˙Assists in the processes, by which requests and inquiries related to hardware, local area networks, and wide area networks, host systems communications are received, screened, prioritized, and resolved.?˙˙˙Assistance, ˙installations, ˙and general maintenance; ˙logs calls and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory ˙response with acceptable ˙time frames for the user community; provides management and status reports on all requests.?˙˙˙Performs other related duties as required. SKILLS:?˙˙˙Ability to diagnose and repair equipment; ˙operate and have a sound technical ˙understanding ˙of a wide variety of personal computing˙equipment ˙and software?˙˙˙Follow manuals and read complicated ˙instructions; ˙understand and carry out oral and written instructions?˙˙˙Communicate ˙effectively ˙in written and oral form?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Basic understanding ˙of electrical ˙safety procedure.˙
