POSITION ÿSUMMARY:ÿSupport and maintain data processing and display, VTC and communications hardware. ÿThis includes installing, configuring, ÿdiagnosing, ÿrepairing and upgrading all corporate ÿhardware and equipment while ensuring ÿits optimal performance.ÿAlso troubleshoot ÿproblem areas in a timely and accurate manner, and provide end user training and assistance where required.ÿPRINCIPAL ÿRESPONSIBILITIES:ÿ?ÿTroubleshooting, installation, ÿrepair, problem diagnosis, and implementation.?ÿAssists in the processes, by which requests and inquiries related to hardware, local area networks, and wide area networks, host systems communications are received, screened, prioritized, and resolved.?ÿAssistance, ÿinstallations, ÿand general maintenance; ÿlogs calls and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory ÿresponse with acceptable ÿtime frames for the user community; provides management and status reports on all requests.?ÿPerforms other related duties as required. SKILLS:?ÿAbility to diagnose and repair equipment; ÿoperate and have a sound technical ÿunderstanding ÿof a wide variety of personal computingÿequipment ÿand software?ÿFollow manuals and read complicated ÿinstructions; ÿunderstand and carry out oral and written instructions?ÿCommunicate ÿeffectively ÿin written and oral form?ÿBasic understanding ÿof electrical ÿsafety procedure.ÿ
