Job Description

SUMMARYProvides direction to a team of engineers and technicians in the operation and maintenance of buildings, external areas, streets, gardens, etc. and the related systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil, etc.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following:

  • Provide overall supervision of the technical team and subcontractors
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to the team
  • Identify and Undertake corrective and preventative maintenance of all aspects related hard services (environmental, mechanical, and electrical operational systems including controls, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, life safety systems, electrical lighting and distribution, etc.)
  • Perform engineering troubleshooting and designing repair solutions
  • Ensure the proper completion of scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services.
  • Ensure systems updates are done in a quality and timely manner
  • Provide proper reports and updates to the senior management team
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Minimum of ten (10) years in Operations and Maintenance
  • Minimum of five (5) years of a technical team management/supervision
ATTRIBUTES
  • Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to make effective technical decisions in emergency situations
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with facility management software
