Job Description

  • Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works.
  • Collaborate with the shift in charge and other personnel to ensure the proper availability of machines during planned maintenance activities.
  • Assign maintenance resolution tasks to the perfect team members after careful consideration of their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with concerned team members in implementing sound preventive maintenance activities to rectify and avoid technical issues.
  • ?˙Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance procedures and operations
  • ?˙Ensure all machinery is up to working standards
  • ?˙Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency
  • ?˙Manage proactively
  • ?˙Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems
  • ?˙Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc)
  • ?˙Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts
  • ?˙Oversee repairs
  • ?˙Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures
  • ?˙Create a work environment with safety as a high priority
  • ?˙Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work
