Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. You will play a crucial role in preventing breakdowns and minimizing downtime, ensuring that our operations run efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in maintenance engineering. If you are a proactive problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  3. Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
  4. Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and prioritize repairs based on urgency and impact on operations
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, repairs, and maintenance costs
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in maintenance technologies and best practices
  7. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to improve their technical skills and knowledge
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  3. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
