Number: 151218 Years of Experience 5 - 16Laravel Developer Remote and Requirements We are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our team at Doroosi! We are searching for a developer who has the technical ability to implement server-side code written in the Laravel framework. Your main responsibility will be designing and implementing applications that are written in PHP. This means you will work closely with front-end developers to integrate backend components with the components theyre creating for users to interact with. Therefore, it is important that youre able to effectively communicate and collaborate with your colleagues.Responsibilities* Define and communicate technical and design requirements * Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes * Design and implement web applications that use the Laravel framework * Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support * Build a high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future * Adding server-side logic to the user interface elements created by Front-End Developers * Creating code and libraries for the scaling of the web application * Assessing and optimizing the speed and growth potential of the application * Keeping collected data safe with implemented security measures * Implementation of data storage solutions and the design of these storage solutions * Setup and administration of backups * Debugging any potential issues that come up with the application * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and system administrators * Offering training and support to others on their team * Create written documentation for the different components * Learn about new technologies and stay up to date with current best practices**Qualifications* BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or similar relevant field * Previous post-undergrad, full-time working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 5+ years * In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 8 PHP Framework * Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design, and MVC architecture * Experience with SQL, MySQL, and Oracle database systems and integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system * Knowledgeable of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 * Version control, such as Git, CVS, or SVN * Proven experience creating user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments * Capability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system * Proven experience managing of hosting environment, that includes database administration and scaling an application to support load changes * Familiarity with server tools (Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM) and cloud servers (Azure, AWS, Linode, Digital Ocean, Rackspace, etc.) * Ability to set up, administer backups, data migration, transformation, and scripting * Ability to work independently or with a group * Excellent management and analytical skills * Great interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to take quick decisions while working in a fast-paced environment * Advanced English skillsPreferred Qualifications* Firebase experience * Experience leading a teamSkills Required:* PHP, Laravel, PHPUnit, LNPP, Git, scripting, shell, Unix, Linux, NGINXSkills Desired:* AJAX, HTML, CSS, web-based applications, command-line troubleshooting, XML, Apache, Jira, AngularJS, Mobile Development, VueJS, JavaScript Company: Industry: IT/Computers - Software Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Career Level: Senior (Team Leader/Staff Supervisor) Date Posted: 15-05-2022 Ref.
