Job Summary:Senior Java Developer has to manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release, involving operational support to a senior levelSenior Java Developer responsibilities include gathering business requirements, building Java modules and testing features before release, having? hands-on experience developing software with different methodologies and are ready to work with developers and team members,Will also design, deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications.This position demands skills with experience in coding financial business applications. With more experience and/or specialization in specific languages. Senior developer may also manage a small team to deliver reports to Section Manager.Job Purpose:As a Java Developer, you will assist in the development, implementation and management of technology-based business solutions to improve our clients? delivery approach. You will be coding, testing and implementing configuration changes and assisting in the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.The Application Team is responsible for support, maintenance development and implementation of policy management solution enhancements aligned with its technology roadmap through the delivery of custom java-based solutions. The Java Developer is dedicated to meeting complex work request demands predominantly by coding, debugging and testing programs using java technologies.?As a member of the production support team, the individual is responsible for the full software development life cycle involving application analysis/design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and post-production verification and support.Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance of developed-applications, troubleshooting and resolution of all related platform issues with providers, internal technology owners and external third party vendors and partners.
• Participate in systems integration (active-directory, networks-firewalls, middleware, web-services & batch process apart from various .net applications & email-flows via lotus-notes) efforts to ensure new or modified application/solution/module operate effectively in the environment and provide ongoing adaptation and support.
• Use automated testing software to script and regression test new programs until results indicating implementation readiness is achieved.?Assist with implementation of new or modified systems and declare post-deployment verification through assessment of quantitative production test output.

• Besides these core responsibilities, there are a few additional job functions that are to be carried out by them.
• Training the end user or client, composition of checklist, operational-procedures, build-guides & design and draft User and Support manuals for the applications (thin-clients) as well as providing technical support when required.
• Designing back-end database structures (data flow: MS-Access, SQL, Oracle ? calling & sending process) for the web applications and also generating stored procedures, functions, designs & web-configs that are complex in nature for the software?s maintenance purposes.
• Finding information about latest technologies that aid in the development of core web applications and enhance their features in the contingencies.
• They have to also ensure the compatibility of their websites with newer software or operating system version.
• Understanding the life cycle of software and determining any changes that may be needed as per the observations and feedback of software testing professionals

• 7 years of java financial applications development experience?(specifically in financial domains/industries)
• Strong ?experience & capability using J2EE, JMS, JSP / Servlets; JavaScript (jQuery, Angular JS), HTML 5, CSS
• Strong experience integrating java applications using SOAP, HTML and REST and performing life insurance ACORD standards transformations using XML (preferably on the WebSphere message broker / integration bus platform).
• Experience working with and integrating java applications using various enterprise integration patterns along with a solid understanding of transport protocols.
• Experience with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans).
• Windows OS experience and proficiency in using and working with Windows server, IIS and MSSQL admin & development of & stored procedures
• Prioritizing, assigning and executing tasks throughout the software development life cycle
• Identify ,gather and analyze user technical and functional requirements
• Develop Java EE applications, Write well-designed, efficient code and Review, test, debug team members? code, Design database architecture, Validate software functionality and security
• Schedule product releases with internal teams, Document development phases
• Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date and Design flowcharts to illustrate software solutions and Write efficient code based on feature specifications ,Develop user interfaces
• Prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle? and Design database architecture ,Test and debug Java applications
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance , Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code, Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications and Prepare ,produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review with Hands on experience on Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Experience with test-driven development
