Support all aspects of the IT systems and services. Install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems.Ensure the security and integrity of computer operations and systems development in accordance with the firms strategic plan and the IT plan.Functional Responsibilities:- Provide user access management services of desktop and enterprise applications based on security requirements / user access privileges.- Setup desktops, printers, scanners and other hardware peripherals.- Analyze incidents and perform diagnosis and necessary upgrades or fixes to desktop applications and IT systems (e.g. operating systems).- Register and record received IT service requests, escalating them as appropriate and providing progress updates to users as applicable.- Provide initial (1st level) support to end users for desktop systems, IT applications, and IT infrastructure.Core Responsibilities :- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.- Facilitate knowledge transfer to junior staff (if any), relating to the different job activities, and ensure transfer of know-how and expertise.
