Job Description

Job PurposeIT Manager helps to meet the Company needs for computer hardware, software and networking tools. He works to develop, test, install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software and network.Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards;
  2. the design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment;
  3. maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization;
  4. securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access;
  5. the support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy;
  6. upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases;
  7. the configuration of routing and switching equipment;
  8. the configuration of hosted IP voice services;
  9. the basic configuration of firewalls;
  10. capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers;
  11. Protect systems ? servers and services from external and internal threat by
  12. (a) Analyzing and evaluating systems security vulnerabilities
  13. (b) Updating security patches for servers (Web server, Mail, DNS, etc.)
  14. (c) Applying Access control List on servers
  15. (d) Deploying best security measures
  16. Back up, secure and protect data
  17. Updating and maintaining OS and software to the latest releases, patches, etc.
