Job Description

Responsibilities ?Main:Responsible for the companys networks and software, the job includes all devices and systems related to information technology, monitoring the network infrastructure and solving the problems of various systems , he also must be always up to date?to ensure security systems are consistent and reliable.Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Sets IT Department long and short-term objectives that compatible with the Companys overall vision and follow up the implementation process.
  • Supervises the process of the preparation of the IT Department budget in coordination with the Finance Department.
  • Supervises the determination of the detailed specifications of the systems to be developed and adopted and do the necessary amendments to them if needed.
  • Ensures that all procedures adopted for systems development, maintenance and operation are implemented.
  • Supervises the implementation of external or internally developed soft wares, ensures that they are examined and documented in accordance with established policies and procedures, and that they are compatible with users needs.
  • Supervises the construction of a comprehensive and integrated database that serves all systems and applications.
  • Ensures that the databases used are updated in coordination with related departments.
  • Establishes and follows up the Data and information backup plan.
  • Ensure implementation of protection and security systems to protect companys information and control access as well as ensure the security and confidentiality.
  • To be up to date on global practices related to the development of information security and integrity and take measures to protect the companys information.
  • Manages IT staff by training, developing, assigning tasks and evaluating their performance.
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and internal procedures.
  • Prepare all IT department periodic and non-periodic reports and performance data and submit them to the line manager.
  • Carry out similar duties that may fall under his responsibility.
