Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished IT Director who possesses Aramco approval to spearhead our information technology strategy and operations. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in IT management, a deep understanding of Aramco?s standards and practices, and a proven history of implementing innovative solutions that contribute to organizational success.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company?s business objectives, ensuring compliance with Aramcos requirements.
  2. Project Management: Supervise significant IT projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget while adhering to Aramcos quality benchmarks.
  3. Team Management: Inspire and guide a team of IT professionals, promoting a culture of teamwork and ongoing enhancement.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to pinpoint technology needs and areas for improvement.
  5. Compliance and Security: Guarantee that all IT operations meet Aramco?s security and regulatory standards, including data protection and risk management protocols.
  6. Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that service delivery aligns with organizational expectations.
  7. Budget Management: Design and oversee the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support business goals.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  9. Innovation Promotion: Encourage a culture of innovation within the IT team, exploring new technologies that can enhance operational efficiency.
  10. Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for IT staff.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a master?s degree is preferred.
  2. Experience: At least 12 years of experience in IT management, particularly in large-scale enterprise environments; experience in the oil and gas and pipelines sector is advantageous.
  3. Aramco Approval: Must hold Aramco approval and possess a comprehensive understanding of their IT frameworks and standards.
  4. Technical Skills: Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software solutions.
  5. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive transformation, and manage complex projects effectively.
  6. Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
