About this opportunity!We are now looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on the customer specifications and business needs. Responsible for short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by being part of or working closely with the Core 3 team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals. Supports the Consultants during requirement analysis and high level design phases.What you will do

  • Work with Customer operations and managed services team to resolve node and network level issues.
  • Lead critical and emergency situations for fault isolation and timely resolution, on call 24/7 Support engagement.
  • Drive Technical meetings and RCA reporting.
  • Strong Linux administration knowledge and Shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience on Vordel is a plus
  • Support during new solution deployments.
  • Scope, define & design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
  • Analyze customer technology, define business requirements & participate in risk analysis
  • Work with core team on list of potential activities & solutions
  • Develop technical presentations & proposals, & perform customer presentations
  • Support deployment of solution, provide-feedback to R&D
  • Knowledge transfer with operations team for network stability and daily tasks.
  • Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build.
You will bring
  • Education: Bachelors or higher degree in related technical discipline
  • Minimum years of experience: 8+years in Telecommunication/IT and at least 3-5 years? experience of deploy system test and lead test activities with STC Network
  • Domain experience: Ericsson Products and Solutions handling is prime focus, APIGateWay Vordel nodes handling will contribute.
  • Knowledge in IP networking (Diameter, TCP/IP, SOAP, USSD, HTTP) Knowledge in UCIP, SOAP, SMPP, DIAMETER
  • Consistent record with Telecommunication & IT Customers
  • Working Experience with STC Customer
  • Prior experience of working with Customers in Middle Eastern region is a plus
  • Experience in Managed Services will be a plus
  • Experience from technical job roles is expected in Solution Integration and Customer Support including F5 Load Balancers, Juniper Firewall, HP Switches, Extreme Switches, HP Servers, ECE, MSDP, SMSC, USSD, RBT, OBR, TIBCO. Linux and Clustering and cloud platforms.
  • Candidate will be assessed according to the following tracks:
  • Product troubleshooting, Customer management
  • Provide innovative Solutions
  • Preparing the Solutions documents
  • Ability to simulate call flows, and testing on testing environments
