Job Description

BASIC FUNCTIONTo oversees the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing processes of an organization?s products and supplies. To negotiate with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of their commodity industry.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To Create inventory and quantify all materials that will be stored for different projects in Al Ula
  • To issue material as per project requirement from the inventory and stored material.
  • To source material and procure locally (Al Ula, Madinah, Tabuk) if not available in stock.
  • To submit all the tax invoices of locally procured material and manage
  • To assist the Procurement team in providing the right specifications and BOQ of materials to be procured from existing sources other than Al Ula.
  • To make report of all the materials procured, materials in stock and materials issued to projects, weekly/biweekly and submit to the manager for review and record.
  • Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
  • Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
  • Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
  • Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
  • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
  • Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
