Identifies and evaluates the risks to the organization arising from its core business activities, such as track system infrastructure etc. and provide opinions and viable solutions on the same to senior management.
Acts on the inputs provided on the overall adequacy and effectiveness of the organizations core business unit?s arrangements for governance, risk management and control.
Improves core business operations by implementing recommendations on the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Conducts audit assignments in line with the internal audit plan and within the budgeted time, in a professional manner, adopting the best operations audit practices and appropriate audit techniques.
Develops and ensures timely completion of infrastructure and operations audits and preparation of the audit reports for each function.
Develops infrastructure & operations audit manuals, policies and procedures and update them periodically to ensure alignment with global and local best audit practices.
Coordinates activities of External Auditors, and potential governmental reviewers.
Holds investigations and report the same to senior management in case of non-compliance or irregularities.
