Manages the day-to-day operations of servers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
Develop, maintain, and monitor backup procedures for all host operating system and host-based applications.
Analyze all servers? logs and events and seek appropriate solutions where needed.
Develop custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical services, and maintains security and protect systems from unauthorized use/abuse.
Ensures that records of system downtime, system maintenance and reconfiguration are properly maintained.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on infrastructure activities, project status and issues.
