Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSEQ Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards. You will develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize risks, improve workplace safety, and enhance the overall quality of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSEQ management, with experience in the private sector.   1. Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and hazards and implement corrective actions.
  3. Provide training and education to employees on HSEQ best practices and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine the root cause and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for new projects or processes.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSEQ programs and initiatives and recommend improvements as needed.
  7. Ensure that all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment are available and in good working condition.
  8. Maintain records and documentation related to HSEQ activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training records.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest HSEQ regulations, standards, and best practices and communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of HSEQ professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an HSEQ Manager or in a similar role in the private sector.
  3. Excellent knowledge of local and international HSEQ regulations and standards.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  5. Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies.
  6. Ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement in HSEQ performance.
  7. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  8. Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  9. Certifications in HSEQ management, such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or equivalent, would be an advantage.
  10. Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills would be a plus.
