Job Description

Lead and implement human resource strategies that align with the overall business plan and direction, to attract, develop, and retain a skilled and motivated workforce that meets the current and future needs of the business unit. Specifically, this includes Manpower planning, Talent management, Organizational and performance management, Training and development, Reward recognition, and Policies and procedures.Strategic & Oversight Duties

  • Develop, manage, and implement HR policies and procedures (e.g., employee rewards, job grading, etc.) to effectively manage HR and create a more standardized and consistent HR function.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures comply with Saudi laws and regulations to avoid complications or fines from government agencies.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and regulations effectively across the business unit.
  • Monitor Saudization levels in the business unit and provide recommendations and advice when critical levels of Saudization are reached, in line with management directives.
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive recruiting and retention plans for the business units talent to meet the businesss human resources needs.
  • Ensure that the business units culture aligns with the group culture to promote good productivity, performance, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Manage the business units reward, recognition, and motivation programs in line with top management directives.
  • Manage talent planning activities, including identifying talent needs based on the business units direction, identifying top internal talent, and developing plans to attract external talent for vacant positions as needed and according to the recruitment plan.
Operational Duties
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of guidelines for the performance evaluation system.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for business unit employees.
  • Oversee the sourcing and hiring of employees for the business unit.
  • Conduct HR interviews for business unit hires.
  • Oversee the provision of recruitment services for the business unit.
  • Oversee and manage staff training and development plans for the business unit.
  • Oversee and manage employee services for the business unit, including employee contract changes, travel arrangements, vacation requests, onboarding, and termination.
  • Oversee and manage employee relations for the business unit, including employee conflicts, HR inquiries, and complaints.
  • Assess manpower gaps and redundancies in the business unit and develop HR plans for training, recruitment, and succession.
  • Develop, direct, and oversee the implementation of organization design principles at the business unit (e.g., new jobs, organization structures, and changes in organization structure) and liaise with the holding HR for major organization design principles such as the creation of new jobs and major changes in organization structures.
  • Oversee all government relations related services for the business unit.
  • Stay up-to-date on and provide updates on government regulations and expedite government-related processes such as the renewal of residence permits, exit and re-entry visas, and transfer of employee sponsorship.
  • Obtain legal permits and certifications needed for the business unit.
  • Oversee administrative tasks within the business unit, including:
    • Arranging and organizing/scheduling meetings across
