Job Description

SUMMARYThis job provides direct (field) support to the Housing team (Operation). Duties include but are not limited to inspecting, receiving houses, reporting deficiencies, and following up units forwarded to the technical team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Conduct vacant unit inspections per the set scheduled provided by the housing coordinator and report all the deficiencies found to the coordinator and the helpdesk
  • Conduct long term assignment housing inspection when the house is assigned along with furniture and SP checklist and report the possible technical deficiencies and damaged/ missing furniture to the housing coordinator
  • Conduct a joint pre-occupancy inspection with the housing coordinator to ensure that the house is ready for occupancy
  • Conduct post-occupancy inspections and report any possible deficiencies and missing/damaged furniture to the housing coordinator
  • Make sure all the housing inspection/SP/ furniture checklists are filled and filed properly
  • Make sure that the core structure of the KAPSARC Housing property is in good condition (checking electrical wirings, plumbing, fire alarms, AC panels, water supply, Internet connectivity, condition of door frames, interior walls, ceilings, windows, porches, garage, etc).
  • Conduct joint inspections with the technical team and verify the condition of the house before receiving it.
  • Work closely with all the contractors to ensure that the assigned units are RFO on time
  • The role requires flexibility to perform shift work as needed.
  • Perform I auditor, BIPs, and IDs inspections on time.
  • All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Previous housing inspection experience preferred
