˙˙JOB PURPOSEThe position is responsible for providing welding repairs and support to the service function. The position reports directly to the Regional Service Manager.˙˙JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES˙1-Welding Repairs ˙Diagnose basic faults and recommend welding repair solutions upon consultation with the Service Supervisor. Use best welding techniques and materials to get the desired results according to the suppliers? standard specifications.˙2-Compliance with Service Policies and Procedures Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company occupational health and safety regulation and with relevant environmental standards. Follow company uniform (dressing code) and safety gears at all times. Carry out repairs as per industry and supplier-prescribed standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and workshop floor.˙˙3-Welding Skills Development Have a minimum required understanding of necessary machine systems. Acquire external certifications as required by the suppliers. Compliance with Technician Career Development Plan (TCDP).4-Utilizaiton / Productivity / Efficiency Carry out repairs to equipment in minimum possible time and minimum number of trips to customers? sites and alternatively within the company workshop.˙
