Job objectivesRepair and maintenance of a large agricultural equipment including engines, irrigation equipment, harvesters, Tractors, trucks/light commercials. Overhaul Diesel Engines, Generator (Caterpillar, Volvo, MITSUMAN, CUMMINS).Delivery of a comprehensive maintenance schedule programme.Main duties and responsibilitiesDiagnose and repair equipment deficienciesRoutine servicing and overhauling of alldieselengines.Inspecting the engines and detecting malfunctions.Replacing engine parts and appropriately assembling the same.Maintaining records of servicing and engine oilsChecking electrical systems and transmission parts and ensuring the smooth functions of the sameEnsuring the proper handling of all testing and repair tools. (Pneumatic & power tools)Troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, electro-mechanical and power systemsRecondition and repair equipment components and systems as assignedAbility to work with maintenance supervisor/stock controller to order parts or supplies needed to complete equipment repairsDetermine repairable tire conditions and make such repairsWorking in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a variety of generator engines, fleet equipment such as Heavy Haul Trucks, Tractors, Loaders, HarvestersCommunicate with maintenance supervisor to coordinate maintenance prioritiesMaintain maintenance recordsEnter service and/or repair information into a computerized work order system to track maintenance activities for each piece of equipment being serviced or repairedAlert maintenance superviosr of any critical situations which may affect optimum equipment situation.Strive to reduce repair and maintenance costs on a long-term basisEnsure daily workplace inspections are done in order to accurately identify and correct workplace hazards and comply with safety policies and proceduresNawami offer a very good benefits package as well as an opportunity for continued personaldevelopment and exposure to world class operation techniques
