Job Description

For Saudi nationals onlyAn H.S.E. OFFICER is needed in Alwatania Bricks factory based in DhurmaHolding Diploma or Bachelor Degree qualified ISO 14001 & OSHA (Occupation Safety and Health Association) 18001 certified2 - 3 experience in HSE FieldBrief Role:Plans and establishes health, safety and environmental procedures of the factory that comply with standard regulations.Responsibilities:

  • ensure safety systems and equipments are in place and continually functioning properly.
  • visit various places regularly to inspect processes and procedures.
  • investigate accidents and complaints.
  • develop positive working relationships?with site managers to allow health and safety inspections to take place.
  • check noise, heat, cold and vibration levels.
  • assess levels of substance waste disposal.
  • take precautions against industrial diseases.
  • inspect machinery, working environments and structures.
  • research measures to prevent human harmful substances.
  • negotiate with managers to try to eliminate conflict between production and safety considerations.
  • ensure workers are provided with suitable protected equipments.
  • keep up to date with new legislations on health and safety standards.
  • manage, support his subordinates and evaluate their performance.
  • maintain adequate records and report periodically the required information to the concerned departments.
  • provide training and education support to employees.
  • develop and recommend health and safety working programs.
  • ?any other job assigned by the line manager.
