The Head of IT will establish the IT function from scratch for an exciting Vision 2030 start-up in Riyadh.Client DetailsOur client is a Vision 2030 start-up based in Riyadh.DescriptionThe Head of IT will develop, implement, manage and oversee the organisations IT strategies/operations. The Head of IT will be responsible for:Developing the IT strategy, policies and roadmap to support the organisations growthDesigning and implementing the IT infrastructure for a new office set-upEnsuring the security and reliability of the organisations IT systems and infrastructureManaging IT budgets and resource planningLeading various IT projectsProviding the organisation with IT and Systems SupportDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and other external partnersReporting and presentations to C-suite stakeholdersProfileThe Head of IT will be/have:At least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or any related discipline10+ years of experience in IT, of which at least 2 years must have been in a leadership rolePreviously established IT departments from scratchStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers and applicationsExperience managing IT projects, budgets and teamsKnowledge of IT security, governance, compliance and best practicesKnowledge of IT reliability and disaster recoveryService/solution oriented - able to understand organisation and stakeholder requirements, and deliver IT solutions efficientlyA willingness to be hands-on, whilst dealing with senior stakeholdersBased in/willing to relocate to RiyadhJob OfferAn attractive salary along with family benefits are on offer for the Head of IT role.
