Head of Internal Audit Responsibilities:?

Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing career paths for direct reports.
Establish and assign departmental goals to team members and evaluate their performance.
Provide technical assistance with investigations, special audits, and provide subject-matter expertise as needed.
Provide risk management and internal control leadership and support regarding effective operating and designed controls, risk mitigation strategies.
Perform annual risk assessment during audit planning and development of the audit strategy, audit plan, and audit scope.
Lead large engagements and drive teams in program execution.
Leads the planning and execution of audit engagements
