Job Description

A major new government entity has been launched by His Highness King Salman with very signifcant financial backing, a huge piece of land to be developed on top of existing facilities. The project has both ambitious financial goals and an important strategic social focus of significant importance to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are seeking an experienced Saudi national Facilties Management professional to lead the FM division.The new project will offer a range of very large mixed events ranging from cultural, musical, sports and entertainment and fixed park attractions. We will be bringing top level entertainment from around the world and driving the cultural and entertainment scene in Saudi Arabia, whilst promoting the best of the Kingdoms culture and heritage alongside the most modern and eye catching acts from around the world.There will also be fixed attractions of very signficaint proportions and of the best internaitonal standards so it is vital that these assets are planned and maintained in the best possible fashion.The role of the head of Facilities Management will be to deliver best practice in both soft and hard facilities management across the park, working across multiple attractions at once. Responsibilities will include:

  • The individual will need to oversee the erection of temporary structures such as seating tiers, attractions, stages, lighting, food trucks etc, ensuring both the right look and feel and customer experience as well as HSE, power and water and hard maintenance.
  • The individual will need to project manage the delivery of soft FM services such as customer service/park information, cleaning services and security services across a very large area.
  • The individual will need to ensure that permanent structures, both in terms of stadiums, VIP facilities, hospitality buildings and infrastructure such as roads, power, water and sewerage are maintained to high aesthetic and operational levels.
  • The individual will be able to plan and project manage for events, not ongoing business as usual, but a calendar with peak times of activity and times of minimal activity.
The individual will oversee a small core team as well as the activities of potentially hundreds of suppliers of various hard and soft FM services.
