Job Description

The position includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Attending and organising meetings to promote, support and advise on all related contracts and services issues.
  • Ensuring that the Contracts Section provides a continuously improving level of service to all GASCO customers in matters pertaining to the procurement of services through the development and regular reporting of KPI?s.
  • Guaranteeing the fair and equitable treatment of all vendors through robust policies and processes.
  • Safeguarding the financial and operational interests of the Company by managing and controlling the authorization and escalation levels.
  • Managing and overseeing the contract management activity of all contract and services related to procurement activity.
  • ?Developing and delivering stakeholder management strategy to ensure regular and honest interaction with key customers in order to continually improve performance and customers satisfaction.
  • Ensure that contracting policies, procedures, and authorization levels are adhered to.
  • Oversee the preparing and issuing of solicitations, preparing bids and proposals, preparing or analyzing terms and conditions, or analyzing service requirements and supplier capabilities.
  • ?Install a clear training and development annual plan for all members of the contracts team in line with the department training and development strategy.
  • Provide guidance to identify savings opportunities across all service categories.
  • ?Ensure that KPI?s are produced each month in line with department policy.
  • Develop new and innovative ways to maximize the performance of the Contracts Section.
  • Identify future talent and actively support and promote the department succession planning policy.
  • Manage the negotiation of high value and high-risk service awards in line with company policy and department guidelines.
  • Maintain an up to date awareness of the supply market.
