This really is a blank canvas, where you will have autonomy to define and direct how the Legal/Compliance team should look and feel like. We are looking for someone able to take overall responsibility for all company legal & compliance matters, and who is comfortable working closely with the Board and Senior Management team, as well as with people at all levels across the business.
We have great ambitions?and working in the highly competitive BNPL space means there is high expectations to quickly deliver and iterate your approach to ensure that legal matters never become a bottleneck, while also identifying ways to support the commercial aims of the company.
This will be a stand-alone role at first so you?ll need to be able to balance the strategy with the hands-on activity. We have external support for you to lean on so you will have some resources even as you build out your team.
?You will have in depth knowledge of working with regulators in KSA and know how to get to the right people to get things moving.
Your role will be very broad and cover a wide range of areas (although you don?t have to be a specialist in all of them!). You?ll lead on key projects and initiatives covering things like IP, providing hands on legal advice to senior leadership, managing relationships with external law firms, data privacy and security, working with regulatory bodies.
