Job Description

On behalf of a growing Bakery chain, we are seeking atalented and enthusiastic Head Chef. Based in Riyadh, you will be responsible for developing and planning recipes and overseeing the daily production of bread and other baked goods.Your duties include understanding what types of baked goods your clientele enjoys and developing or improving upon successful recipes. Taking ownership of all things related to baking, and maintaining an organized and efficient process for regular operations

  • Responsible for daily operations in the kitchen.
  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
  • Creating new dishes and menus.
  • Staying up to date with culinary trends and kitchen processes.
  • Dealing with suppliers and ensuring that they supply quality goods at affordable prices.
  • Managing the inventory and ordering stock as needed.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organizing repairs when needed.
  • Developing new dishes, creating menu items, and overhauling menus to attract more clientele.
  • Ensuring that guests receive excellent service, ensuring variety and quality.
  • Determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering.
  • Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
  • Being responsible for Quality Control, health and safety, and food hygiene practices.
