Job Description

The jobs in this level are responsible for performing accounting tasks of collecting, entering and processing documents, and assist other members of the team as assigned.Main Responsibilities:

  • Follows all relevant finance procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Follows the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the finance to ensure continuity of work
  • Performs basic general accounting activities in a well-defined parameter requiring gathering, entering and simple analysis on financial transaction to ensure the accuracy and the effectiveness of the records
  • Assists senior accountants in calculation of special payments and special reports to provide meaningful information for decision making
  • Contacts internal departments and section or staff personnel for the purpose of requesting, supplying or explaining data, securing information, or describing additional data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the records
  • Files and keeps up to date financial records for easy accessibility and retrieval upon request.
  • Checks all financial transactions received to ensure the continuous approval and proper supporting document in accordance with IOC?s policies and procedures
  • Handle accounts payable & vendors inquiries
  • Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls
