Job Description

Job brief:The role holder is responsible for executing sales activities in alignment with the sales business plan. The role holder will also be responsible for generating leads, business development, sales negotiations and relationship building to achieve pre-set growth targets.Key job roles and responsibilities:

  • Understands sales department strategy and business plans and executes sales-related activities to fulfill growth objectives.
  • Keeps abreast of service offerings of Freight, market trends, and customer needs, and builds strong relationships with clients, thereby, maximizing sales performance.
  • Responds to client requirements for ongoing service agreements and tracks fulfillment of relevant activities.
  • Coordinates with other internal departments to communicate updates/additions to current agreements effectively.
  • Manages existing client portfolio, and repeat business, and ensures ongoing support leading to business growth.
  • Reports regular updates on client-related communication to the Sales Managers.
  • Reaches to new clients with service solutions to ensure new-business growth and contribute to overall revenue/client portfolio sales strategy.
  • Manages the contracting procedures with the client and internally with legal and relevant parties.
  • Liaises with customers to collect feedback about the services offered Nd reports on improvement areas.
