Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Trucks Fleet Supervisor to oversee our fleet of diesel trucks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of truck fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of diesel truck maintenance, and the ability to effectively manage drivers and resources.Responsibilities:

  • Manage a fleet of diesel trucks, ensuring optimal utilization and availability.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers, including scheduling, dispatching, and performance monitoring.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all trucks, addressing both periodic and urgent repairs.
  • Oversee and manage truck maintenance, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts procurement.
  • Track and analyze truck routes, trips, and delivery schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Monitor and control diesel fuel consumption, implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve fuel efficiency.
  • Manage driver trip allowances and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck maintenance, driver logs, and other relevant documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to truck operations or driver performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
