Roles & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our engineering team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection system design for commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments. The candidate must have extensive experience using AutoCAD and Elite Software and possess at least 5 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably with a reputable engineering consulting firm.Desired Candidate ProfileKey Responsibilities:Design fire protection and firefighting systems in accordance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), NFPA, and project specifications.Prepare fire protection layouts, hydraulic calculations, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.Perform system calculations and analyses using Elite Software.Design sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, fire hose cabinets, clean agent systems, and fire alarm systems.Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.Review project specifications, tender documents, and shop drawings.Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.Ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements and applicable international standards.Support project execution through technical reviews and site coordination when required.Prepare technical reports, design calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 5 years of fire protection engineering experience in Saudi Arabia.Previous experience working with an engineering consulting firm is mandatory.Strong knowledge of NFPA, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and Civil Defense regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Elite Software.Experience with hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred QualificationsProfessional engineering registration or relevant certifications.Experience with BIM/Revit is an advantage.Familiarity with international design standards and multidisciplinary coordination.Required Skills:Fire Protection System DesignAutoCADElite SoftwareHydraulic CalculationsNFPA CodesSaudi Building Code (SBC)Fire Alarm & Firefighting SystemsTechnical DocumentationEngineering CoordinationProblem Solving and CommunicationBenefits:Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Medical insurance.Annual paid leave.Career growth opportunities.Professional and collaborative work environment.
