Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:The FG Logistics Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinate, and drive the process of receiving the finished goods from the production floor to the factorys wharehouses and dispatching the finish goods from the factorys wharehouses to customers. His job will be contained but not limited to the following:

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the inventory, movement, or storage of goods.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the transportation, storage, or distribution of goods.
  • Develop forecasting plans to maintain the movement of the inventory between the internal and external warehouses.
  • Develop forecasting plans to maintain the transportation service level to the customers.
  • Track and trace the movement of the transportation using the companys systems.
  • Verify goods reach their destination on time.
  • Establish priorities, track assignments, and ensure the availability of resources to execute the plans.
  • Maintain schedules and deadlines.
  • Comply with plant standards, health and safety standards, and shipping regulations.
  • Work with loading and warehouse personnel to ensure shipments and cost targets are on track.
  • Work with production personnel to verify receiving goods in the system and the physical storage location.
  • Conduct the physical stock takes as required by business periods.
  • Report WMS performance on a daily, weekly, or monthly to the SC&LM.?
