Job Description

The role holder is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day Facilities operations for the assigned property type (Retail or Commercial), and ensuring that all facilities related works are performed according to Job Offer Sun & Sand Sport approved safety and management standards, policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements.Core Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support and advise on day-to-day facilities management for the assigned property type (Retail or Commercial) to Job Offer Sun & Sand Sport stakeholders
  • Assists in the plan and preparation of periodic forecasts of facilities operating budget, and identifies cost saving measures to reduce spending
  • Manages all maintenance activities including but not limited to AC servicing, lift maintenance, painting, electrical systems, drainage, water treatment etc. for assigned property type (Retail or Commercial) and ensures that they are done regularly, timely and as per the desired quality level
  • Manages quotations and negotiates new and existing maintenance/ service contracts; provides support in developing SLA?s with contractors and service providers
  • Monitors all service providers as per contract and reviews their performance as per SLA?s
  • Conducts regular visits and period inspections to the facilities premises to identify and facilitate business requirements, and avoid any disruption of services or operations?
  • Provides support in matters related to vendor contract management including, negotiation, renewals, payment, and termination, and ensures compliance with Job Offer Sun & Sand Sport processes and procedures
  • Manages and maintains document control systems for the facilities and maintenance information for tracking purposes, and highlights any deficiencies on a regular basis
  • Monitors and controls the inventory of supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary; prepares documents for equipment procurement; prepares specifications and contracts for contract services
  • Manages and supervises the activities and work flow of team (Technical Officers, Technical Executives, and Technicians), to ensure that assignments are executed efficiently and as per the timeframe required ; directs the work of the team and ensures quick turnaround time
  • Establishes work schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; identifies resource needs.
People Management:???????Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective implementation of the Job Offer Sun & Sand Sport performance management process???????Develops talent within the team by providing guidance, mentoring and coaching to achieve the defined goals???????Drives a culture of feedback and coaching in the Business Unit/ Department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching the employees on the areas of improvement
