EXTRUDER OPERATOR ? PET STRAP LINE??????????Set up, operate, and tend machines that extrude, cool, print and wind up strap??????????Unpackage, creel, and splice yarn??????????Setup extruder including changing die heads, screen packs, adjusting temperatures and settings on the extruder to meet specifications??????????Thread machine, including drawing ends through eyelets, tensioners, reeds, extruder heads and rollers.??????????Set up winder gears and cams based on style specifications and clamp new cardboard cores in place on the winder and tape in place for wind up??????????Engage machine and set speed and doff length based on specifications??????????Inspect products to verify that they meet specifications and to determine whether machine adjustments are needed based on observations and specifications??????????Doff completed rolls insert new core while machine continues to run??????????Package rolls for shipment by strapping rolls placing in a box, and placing on a pallet??????????During operation of machine, samples will be tested on a periodic bases verifying adherence to quality standards and documenting results, based on the specifications??????????Clean tooling including dies, screw and extruder barrel??????????Fill-out daily production reports?
