Are you looking for a fantastic career move that may see you rise to Head of Department in a few short years??This is a rare, ground level opportunity to be part of an exciting agency whose focus is huge scale sporting events.?Production Managers are primarily responsible for delivering, with the project and creative teams, all production and technical aspects of projects. This includes full management of operations and procurement with a focus on supplier relationship management.?Key Areas of Responsibility?Pre-production:?1. Work closely with the Creative, Project and Business Development teams to examine project briefs and determine their requirements and needs in order to submit a production budget2. Identify the most suitable suppliers (including contractors, artists and freelancers) and innovative techniques to bring the concept to life3. Coordinate and broaden vendor/partner relationships that will enhance event capabilities in terms of quality of service and product innovation4. Support Project Managers by providing detailed (itemized) budgets5. Regularly negotiate best possible rates with suppliers in order to add value to the project6. Ensure that the overall financial integrity of the budget is maintained7. Provide production direction for the projects concept and assess the feasibility of a project?s concept and find the best ways to interpret it using the most advanced techniques in A/V as well as special effects8. Organize effective site visits to create proper technical plans & equipment lists as per the event concept and needs, taking into consideration the health & safety regulations9. Estimate the time required to complete the work and provide negotiated quotes, estimated budgets and planning of execution to finalize the overall project budget10. Establish risks as well as health & safety management survey for each project and ensure the most appropriate solutions are found and respected in coordination with technical planner.?Post-production operation:?1. Supervise all aspects of the project such as the good technical execution & delivery of the project as per the concept guidelines2. Follow-up with the Project Managers and suppliers for any improvement or alterations required for the set up3. Manage all of the operations of the technical suppliers & contractors onsite to ensure that the technical teams follow the code of conduct policies as well as the quality standards of our agency, the clients & venue4. Manage all the technical resources within the budget5. Keep daily reports of the work in progress to share during on site meetings with the Project Manager and Business Development Manager
